With the increased storage capacity on my PSP, I’m finally using the device for what I intended in the first place: as a portable video device.

I’m finding I can store up to four episodes of a 1 hr (45 min actually) TV show on the device without problem and still have room for game saves. It’s a great way to get caught up on episodes I’ve missed due to other commitments I’ve had recently (not that I’m complaining about that ).

Plus I find that the battery drain isn’t as much when running videos from the memory card than if they were on a UMD disk. I haven’t done any formal run-down tests but I’m estimating almost twice the battery life. Not bad at all.
