Tripple A lovin’

So the other night the battery on Meg’s car finally conks out and leaves her stranded at her tutoring club. Today, the Santa Fe gets a flat. What do these two incidents have in common? AAA. It’s times like these when I thank myself that I pay the annual fee for their road-side service. It’s worth every penny.

Sitting on the sidelines.. in style!

Though the prospect of another suspect season looms, espescially after yesterday’s Mark Prior revelation, Meg and I are now officially attending at least 7 Cubs games this season. For the first time ever both she and I are going to opening day and closing day. Plus, I scored two front-row seats for the bullpen boxes this afternoon! Sweet!

Considering that the game is in the middle of the week against the Pirates, I don’t think the $40 asking price was all that bad. These same seats are going for $75 for night games and weren’t even available for the premium games. Compare this to $22-60 to sit in a seat with a back in the bleachers or up to $250 to sit in back of home plate (too see the Brewers, no less) and I think came out pretty well.
